Want a peppermint bar for Christmas? No problem! Want a vanilla bar for winter? Easy peasy! You can even adapt them for holidays like Valentine’s Day and Easter. The possibilities are endless! Read on to see how you can create your own holiday bars in minutes.
You only need a few simple ingredients to make these holiday bars, and all supplies are available right here at Shore Cake Supply.
You Will Need:
–Melting chocolate candy red/white/chocolate (or flavors/colors of your choice)
–Wilton Peppermint Crunch Sprinkles (or sprinkles of choice)
–LorAnn Oils Peppermint Oil (or flavor of your choice)
-Cellophane gift bags
Melt your chocolate per package directions. Melting chocolates come in a variety of flavors and colors, so choose what you like best! We chose milk chocolate, dark chocolate,white and red chocolate for this recipe
Add one drop of peppermint oil to your melted chocolate. Stir until smooth.There are over 30 oil flavors available, so the choice of flavoring is up to you! If you prefer your bar without any flavor, you can omit this step, too.
Pour your melted chocolate into molds. We offer a variety of shapes and sizes, but for this post we chose a standard rectangular chocolate bar mold.
Spread the chocolate to fill the mold then sprinkle your chocolate bars with the sprinkles or toppings of your choice. For this recipe we used Wilton Peppermint Crunch and Wilton Holiday Sprinkles.
